Climate Project

Go -Foundation is working extensively to tackle climate change and they are participating in various international and national enterprises, such as UNDP (UN Development Program), NDCS (Nationally Determined Contributions) and SDG 13 (Climate Action)

UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) Cooperation :

The Go -up Foundation has participated in various projects of the United Nations Development Program (UNP), which is helpful in reducing the effects of climate change. They increase the adaptation plan and awareness of the local community as part of the UNP Climate Program. It is helpful in meeting the goals of SDG 13.

NDCs (Nationally Determined Contributions):

They participated in related activities with NDCS, which is part of the country’s commitment and planning to counter climate change. The Go -up Foundation has helped to ensure low carbon emissions and implement the climate policy.

SDG 13 (Climate action):

The Go -up Foundation has taken steps related to SDG 13 (climate action), which emphasizes the importance of preventing climate change, increasing adaptation capacity and ensuring low carbon emissions. They participated in climate -related strikes at the local and international level and raised climate awareness.
Through all these works, the Go -up Foundation is performing their duties in tackling climate change and playing an important role in achieving SDG 13.

Winter Aid

Winter Aid Distribution is a relief program where the winter season is distributed to the helpless, disadvantaged, and poor people, such as blankets, sweaters, shawls, and other essential materials. The aim is to provide for the needy people during the winter season and help them keep them healthy.

The Go Up Foundation conducts such activities, so that they distribute winter relief materials and help the disadvantaged people. They distribute winter clothes in various places, through which they try to provide humanitarian assistance and stand beside the weak class of society.

Such initiatives are generally operated in collaboration with donors, volunteers and confrontation, and it reflects the responsibility and contribution of the organization to the society.

Flood

Go Up Foundation has been actively engaged in providing flood relief in various regions. During floods, the foundation has assisted by distributing essential relief materials, setting up shelters, and ensuring that affected people receive necessary supplies. Their efforts are focused on helping vulnerable communities during natural disasters, playing a significant role in their recovery and well-being.

CDRT

(In the past year, the Go -up Foundation played an important role as the Emergency Response Team in the fiery fire of Nilkhet and Bangabazar)

Crisis & Disaster Response Team (CDRT)-

Go Up Foundation Crisis & Disaster Response Team (CDRT) provides support for natural disasters, man-made disasters and emergency situations. The activities include:

  • Fast Relief Distribution: Floods, cyclones, landslides, fire and other disasters provide food, water, medicines, and essential materials to the victims.
  • Asylum and rehab: Establish temporary shelters for the victims and provide rehabilitation assistance.
  • Medical Assistance: Distribution of first aid, health care and medical equipment after disaster.
  • Emergency Rescue Activity: Conduct rescue and recovery activities with local administration and volunteers.
  • Awareness Training: Training to the people on disaster preparation and preventive measures.
Go Up Foundation is working on immediate assistance and long-term recovery through CDRT, which plays an important role in protecting the lives of the people of the disaster prone region.
